Jerusalem

Since 1991, in periods both of hope and despair, we at Search for Common Ground have worked to foster non-violent cooperative solutions to longstanding conflicts in the Middle East. The destruction, death, and injury that the region has witnessed since September 2000 have made our work all the more necessary and important.

Our work includes developing independent media, using the media to discuss critical issues, convening regional dialogues and building regional cooperation, and encouraging local capacity-building.

Many of the peace-building relationships and cooperative activities that have emerged from our work have endured through this difficult period and will serve as a foundation for renewed dialogue in the emerging era of hope and rebuilding. This dialogue can, in turn, help open the way to a more peaceful, prosperous, and stable future for all the peoples of the Middle East.
