Haaretz: Secret Illegal Settlements Database Leaked

It might appear that I'm being lazy by reprinting an entire Ha'aretz article; however, it does a really good job of explaining this explosive news. The Israeli state, along with many of it's ministries, agencies, local authorities and security estabishment, have been involved in a coordinated plot extending decades to violate the law, steal land, and hide the wrongdoing from the government. Past governments have known about this situation, but turned a blind eye so as to have plausible deniability.
